Day 1: CITTA' DELLA PIEVE

Day 2: ORVIETO

Today we suggest you to visit Orvieto, one of the most famous towns of Italy thanks to the cathedral and to the Etruscan necropolis.
Orvieto is really one of a kind also for the production of Wine, the Orvieto Classico, maybe the most traditional among Italian white wines. 
Upon your request we will reserve for you the visit to one the most important and blazoned of the historical  estates of the area for tasting delicious wine!  

Day 3: LAKE TRASIMENO

Today you will discover Lake Trasimeno. To live the area in the best way we have a wonderful itinerary for you that includes the protected oasis La Valle and a boat ride with local fishermen. Oasis La Valle is a nice protected area where migratory birds stop during the journey from North Europe to north Africa.
Here you will have a guide to assist you during a short tour on overwater footbridges. Later you can meet real local fishermen who will take you fishing by boat with them.
At the end you will have a rich taste of fresh fried lake fish with wine.  A cookery class is also possible in a local agriturismo. 

Day 4: from CITTA' DELLE PIEVE to PERUGIA

Departure from Città della Pieve to Perugia, the capital town of Umbria. We suggest you to visit the National Gallery with the many masterpieces of Perugino, Pintoricchio and all the best renaissance painters.
Perugia is an international town that offers a lot to its visitors; with more than 3000 of history, Perugia has one of the most beautiful historical centers of Italy. Fontana Maggiore, the Cathedral, Rocca Paolina, San Pietro and Palazzo dei Priori are only a few of the monuments that attracts always many visitors.
In the afternoon transfer to your new accommodation, an amazing 4* hotel  near Assisi.  

Day 5: VALNERINA

Today you will live a fantastic excursion into  Valnerina. In 1 hour you will be in the paradise of Apennines. First suggested stop is the wonderful Abbey of San Pietro in Valle.
Second stop is Ferentillo where you will visit the unique Museum of Mummies. It is the old crypt of a church where many many mummies have been preserved thanks to the microclimate of the place.
It is a way of learning about the story of the village, the people who lived there and their habits. 

Day 6: SPOLETO

A fantastic new day to discover Spoleto and the Sagrantino Wine Road. Sagrantino wine is a strong local red grape that only in Umbria grows and the countryside between Spoleto and Assisi is dotted with many beautiful and typical wine estates producing this fabulos wine.
First stop is Spoleto, a roman town also world-famous for the festival dedicated to performing arts. In the second part of June the best musicians, dancers, opera singers and actors of the world have their shows in Spoleto.
Second stop is Bevagna, amazing medieval town with a precious square and many medieval workshops. Still nowadays it is possible to assist to the production of paper or leather or candles according to the old traditional way of many centuries ago!
To end this memorable day in the best way we will visit a fantastic wine estate including a rich wine tasting. 

Day 7: ASSISI

Breakfast and time at your leisure for visiting Assisi and its marvelous Giotto Frescos in the Upper Basilica of Saint Frances.
Protected by Unesco as a human Heritage site, Assisi has a lot to offer both to art lovers and to religious visitors! The old Rocca, and the mystic cathedral together with the narrow medieval streets of the old towns make of Assisi a place to be!
Enjoy the fantastic view from the Cathedral and from the fortress at sunset!
