The villa is perched on a small hill once called Battisole because of the full sun it receives and its views of Lake Trasimeno. From here, there is a one-of-a-kind, 360° panorama of the lake and its three islands, the enchanting village of Monte del Lago and all of the uncontaminated countryside around it.
The stone farmhouse has been elegantly restored and its many doors and windows frame bucolic views as if they were renaissance paintings. Interior finishing materials take their inspiration from the local territory and, with its custom-made furniture and original art hanging on the walls, the villa represents the best of Italian craftsmanship and design.
With no comfort lacking, this villa will make your stay in Umbria an unforgettable experience.

The ground floor of the main villa is full of lounges and living areas featuring characteristic terracotta flooring and vaulted ceilings with oak beams. The interior spaces are generous and have French doors leading to the panoramic exterior of the house.
There is also a bedroom on the ground floor with en-suite bathroom that is easily reached and direct access to the garden.
In the two wings upstairs, four more richly appointed bedrooms await guests, each with its own bathroom and windows facing Lake Trasimeno.
There is a comfortable entertainment area complete with outdoor fireplace, a multi-level guesthouse, a gym outfitted in the old hay barn, a tennis court, a “bocce” court and a panoramic infinity pool.
The park has been carefully planned and laid out, inviting guests to enjoy scenic pergolas, meandering walkways and lush lawns to lie on or walk barefoot on. Among the indigenous plants, are many fruit trees rewarding guests lucky enough to be staying when the fruit ripens, the experience of tasting fruit freshly plucked from the tree.
There are also covered areas with stylish garden furniture, as well as an outdoor kitchen with a grill and wood-burning oven where guests can enjoy authentic Italian meals such as quick brick oven pizzas or locally grown grilled foods.
Villa Battisole also has a large, thriving olive grove on its grounds.
